Apply to become an Air Traffic Controller

AirNav Ireland is the country's national Air Navigation Service provider (ANSP) following the  restructuring of the Irish Aviation Authority.  Launched on 1st May 2023 and financially independent, we are responsible for providing air traffic management and related services in the 451,000km2 of airspace controlled by Ireland.   This airspace forms a crucial gateway for air traffic between Europe and North America. 

Applications are always open for interested candidates to apply for our Student Controller Programme, and if successful in training, progress to become an Air Traffic Controller at one of our three sites in Dublin, Cork or Shannon.

Please note we closed applications for our next selection process for the Air Traffic Controller Student Training Programme on 25 July 2025. Applications received after this date will not be considered in the current selection process, however, will be retained and included in our subsequent selection process.
