AirNav Ireland Marks International Women's Day with Launch of New Mentoring Programme

12 March 2026

AirNav Ireland marked International Women’s Day 2026 with a dedicated event in Portlaoise on Wednesday, 11 March, which also saw the official launch of the AirNav Ireland Mentoring Programme, an initiative designed to support professional development and learning across the organisation.

The event, organised by the AirNav Ireland Women’s Network, brought together colleagues and senior leaders to reflect on progress in advancing inclusion within the organisation and to highlight the role of mentoring in supporting career development at all stages.

Opening the event, Cliona Mimnagh, Chair of the AirNav Ireland Women’s Network, welcomed attendees and outlined the Network’s ongoing work to foster engagement, connection and development across AirNav Ireland.

A Board Perspectives session followed, featuring Lourda Moloney and Anne Bradley, Non‑Executive Board Members of AirNav Ireland. During the discussion, both shared insights from their professional journeys and reflected on the importance of mentorship and leadership in building sustainable and inclusive organisations.

The formal launch of the AirNav Ireland Mentoring Programme was delivered by Gwen Rogan, Senior HR Business Partner. The programme will provide structured mentoring opportunities to support learning, knowledge‑sharing and professional growth across the organisation.

The event also featured a keynote address from Sile Walsh, an internationally recognised leadership and organisational development specialist, who spoke on inclusive leadership, organisational performance and creating environments where people can thrive.

The International Women’s Day event highlighted AirNav Ireland’s continued commitment to supporting development, inclusion and leadership capability, and underscored the important role of mentoring as a practical tool in achieving these objectives.

AirNav Ireland thanked all speakers, organisers and attendees for their contribution to a successful event.
