Girls In Aviation Day Competition T&Cs

Terms & Conditions of Girls in Aviation Day Competition 2024

Full Terms & Conditions:

1. This competition is open only to parents or guardians, aged 18 or over, of girls aged 13- 18, who are residents of the Republic of Ireland.

2. Competition Entry Period: Enter between 00:01 GMT +1 on the 5th of September 2024 and 23:59 GMT 1 on the 12th of September 2024 inclusive.

3. To Enter: Complete the entry form. You will be asked to enter your details (full name, email address, and phone number) and the details of the entrant (full name and age). You will also be asked to complete a test of skill. To complete your entry, you will be asked to complete a test of skill.

4. Winner Selection: There will be a total of 10 winners. The prizes will be randomly allocated to those who successfully complete the test of skill.

5. Prizes: There are ten prizes. Each prize consists of the opportunity for one girl aged 13- 18 and her parent/guardian to visit the Dublin Air Traffic Control Tower on Girls in Aviation Day, Saturday, 21st of September 2024.

6. Visit to Dublin ATC Tower

i. The Prize is only valid for a visit to Dublin Air Traffic Control Tower on the allocated date, Saturday, 21st of September 2024.

ii. There is no cash alternative for any part of the Prize.

iii. Entry to Dublin Air Traffic Control Tower is subject to security checks with photographic ID.

iv. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include any additional elements outside of the prize offered which may include; travel, accommodation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges or any other costs of a personal nature.

v. The Winner must inform the Promoter of any wheelchair, or any similar accessibility or mobility needs.

7. Winner Notification: The provisional winning entrants will be notified by AirNav Ireland when the competition entry period closes. Winners will be sent an email to their email address supplied, confirming their Prize and will be required to follow the instructions within 48 hours. If a provisional winner does not follow the instructions within 48 hours, AirNav Ireland reserves the right to disqualify that provisional winner and return the Prize to the Competition Prize pool where it may be won by another valid entrant during the promotion period.

8. Prize Acceptance: Once eligibility of a Prize is confirmed and the Prize is accepted, a representative of AirNav Ireland will arrange fulfilment of the Prize.

9. AirNav Ireland may request that the Winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the Winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.

10. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation.

11. AirNav Ireland will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.

12. All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used for the purpose of this Promotion and for research and analytical purposes by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion. Personal data will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the AirNav Ireland website.
