Job Purpose
The Compliance and Quality Officer is responsible for the support and continuous improvement of Compliance and Quality activities and performance within the Technical Services Directorate at all Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) units.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Technical Services Compliance and Quality Manager and Technical Services Domains with the implementation of the compliance and quality requirements and work programme.
- Support development of internal audits and inspection programme.
- Performance of internal audits and inspections.
- Support the Technical Services Compliance and Quality Manager in ensuring implementation of recommendations and correction actions from all audits at all technology units.
- Support the Technical Services Compliance and Quality Manager in proactive compliance management activities including data analysis to assist with trend identification and tracking of continuous improvement areas associated with the audit/inspections programme.
- Review and assess changes to regulations and participate in reviews of Notice of Proposed Amendments for EU Legislation and ICAO documentation.
- Support with corrective action plan development including root cause analysis for non-conformances raised from internal and external audits within Technical Services.
- Support the Technical Services Compliance and Quality Manager in the tracking the timely implementation of Corrective Action Plans of audit findings & observations from internal, regulatory and Safety Management Unit (SMU) audits.
- Review and maintain Technical Services Compliance and Quality procedures and compliance matrices.
- Attend and participate in Technical Services Compliance and Quality meetings.
- Liaise with Competent Authority on Compliance and Quality matters
- Liaise with internal departments as required.
- Preparation of various reports for management.
- Any other duties appropriate to the role.
