Data Assistant Operational, Aeronautical Information Services

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose

 To perform such duties as required to support the AIS and ANS Operational functions.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate flight data position
  • Assist Air Traffic Control Staff as required
  • Perform data assistant training duties as required
  • Perform Process flight plans and associated flight safety messages
  • Process routine requests from other services/agencies
  • Amend and maintain ANS/AIS documentation
  • Maintain familiarity with relevant technology and regulations
  • Perform Air Traffic Services Reporting Office (ARO) Function for the Shannon and adjacent Flight Information Regions. 
  • Provide pre and post flight briefing service to flight personnel  
  • Provide the State International NOTAM Office (NOF) function and promulgate informatin by way of NOTAM
  • Carry out administrative duties as required
  •  Perform any other related duties as appropriate to the role of a Data Assistant as assigned.
