JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Purpose
To perform such duties as required to support the AIS and ANS Operational functions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate flight data position
- Assist Air Traffic Control Staff as required
- Perform data assistant training duties as required
- Perform Process flight plans and associated flight safety messages
- Process routine requests from other services/agencies
- Amend and maintain ANS/AIS documentation
- Maintain familiarity with relevant technology and regulations
- Perform Air Traffic Services Reporting Office (ARO) Function for the Shannon and adjacent Flight Information Regions.
- Provide pre and post flight briefing service to flight personnel
- Provide the State International NOTAM Office (NOF) function and promulgate informatin by way of NOTAM
- Carry out administrative duties as required
- Perform any other related duties as appropriate to the role of a Data Assistant as assigned.
