Director of Human Resources

AirNav Ireland, the national provider of air navigation services, is seeking to appoint a Director of Human Resources to join its Executive Management Team.

A commercial semi state organisation, AirNav Ireland employs approximately 700 staff across a number of locations, including Dublin, Shannon and Cork, and operates a critical national infrastructure with annual revenues in excess of €200 million, funded through services to airline customers.

The organisation has experienced sustained growth in both air traffic volumes and revenues in recent years, reflecting rising demand for its services and underscoring its pivotal role in enabling Ireland’s global connectivity and economic activity.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, this is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s people strategy, supporting operational performance, and fostering an inclusive, high performing culture in a complex, safety critical and highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading HR strategy and workforce planning
  • Advising the Executive on organisational risk and people priorities
  • Managing industrial relations and stakeholder engagement
  • Overseeing talent, succession and organisational development
  • Ensuring governance, compliance and best practice

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Senior HR leadership experience in a complex, regulated environment
  • Strong industrial relations expertise
  • Deep knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills
  • A strategic, delivery-focused approach
