Advisory Memoranda
The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) issues advisory memoranda which contain guidance information of an administrative or technical nature and serve as a means of notifying service providers of topical issues and providing interpretation of regulatory requirements.
Each advisory memoranda bears a serial number consisting of a sequential number and year. Memoranda are revised by removing the original issue and issuing a new memoranda with new reference number or by re-issuing the revised memoranda bearing a new issue date.
All current memoranda are available from the Publications section of the IAA’s website www.iaa.ie or on request from the IAA. Only current memoranda are available on the website.
Memoranda are grouped under the following headings:
Aeronautical Notices
The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) issues Aeronautical Notices which contain essential information of an administrative or technical nature and serve as a means of notifying Directions made by the Irish Aviation Authority.
Each Aeronautical Notice bears a serial number and issue number. Should a Notice be altered or amended, it is reissued under the same serial number while bearing a new issue number and effective date. This has the effect of cancelling the previous issue. The serial number is prefixed by one of the following letters, as appropriate.
