1.  Prior Permission Required (PPR) due to intense Parachuting Operations.
2.  Intense Parachuting activity mostly at weekends and Public Holidays.
3.  Significant numbers of trees penetrate the RWY 09 Approach and Transitional surfaces.
4.  All inbound and outbound helicopters must use the runway as the FATO/TLOF and may not carry out direct approaches to, or take-off from apron areas or taxiways. After landing and for take-off, helicopters are to ground taxi or air taxi between the runway and the allocated parking area. Caution must be exercised regarding rotor-tip clearance and downwash /outwash effect while helicopters are operating on the movement area.
